Deir Ezzor City Council, in cooperation with the Al-Bir Wal-Ihsan Association, carried out field tours in the Al-Huwaiqah neighborhood to check on the structural safety of the damaged homes, in preparation for their rehabilitation and restoration.
The tours included inspecting 40 homes, where homes that met structural safety requirements were approved to benefit from the project, while homes that were found to be structurally unfit were excluded in order to preserve the safety of residents.
According to those in charge of the project, each approved house will receive aluminum doors and windows according to need, in addition to a financial grant worth 66,300 Syrian pounds (new) to be disbursed over a period of six months, to support the completion of restoration work and improve the living conditions of the beneficiary families.
