The sewage crews affiliated with the Raqqa City Council responded to complaints from residents of the youth housing area regarding a blockage in the sewage network, as the specialized teams began field inspection immediately after receiving the report.
The investigation revealed that the blockage was caused by the dumping of waste and debris into the inspection rooms, which hindered water flow and caused bottlenecks in the network.
Immediately, the crews carried out cleaning and removal work to remove the clogging agents, and returned the network to its normal position, ensuring continued service and preventing the problem from recurring.
Raqqa City Council called on residents to cooperate in maintaining sewage facilities and to refrain from throwing waste into inspection rooms or drainage networks, as this causes damage that affects the efficiency of the network, increases malfunctions, and requires the implementation of repeated maintenance work.
