The Deputy Governor of Deir Ezzor, Badri Al-Masloukh, and the Commander of Internal Security in the Governorate, Brigadier General Hodayfah Al-Sawwa, met with a number of people from the city of Deir Ezzor participating in the sit-in tent, in the governorate building.
During the meeting, the demands and proposals of the people related to holding the Shabiha (bullies during the former regime ) accountable and improving the service and living conditions were heard. The two sides discussed the most prominent issues raised by the participants and ways to address them within the available capabilities.
The Deputy Governor and Commander of Internal Security stressed the keenness of the concerned authorities to follow up on the demands put forward, work to study them, and take the necessary measures to address as much of them as possible, in a way that achieves the public interest and meets the needs of citizens.
This meeting comes within the framework of direct communication with the people and listening to their demands, which contributes to strengthening cooperation between government institutions and the local community and improving the level of services provided in the governorate.
