The Consumer Protection Department of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Raqqa carried out a comprehensive inspection tour targeting bakeries in the Mansoura area in the Raqqa countryside, in response to a number of complaints received about the situation of bakery operation and the level of services provided to citizens.
The tour aimed to verify the correctness of complaints and follow up on the extent to which ovens adhere to the approved instructions and requirements, in addition to monitoring and addressing any violations that may affect the quality of bread or the mechanism of its distribution.
The Directorate confirmed that these tours come within an ongoing monitoring plan to monitor bread production and ensure that it reaches citizens with the required specifications and quality, stressing the continuation of its food campaigns and taking the necessary measures against violators. It also called on citizens to report any observations or complaints.
