The Hasakah Health Directorate received a water desalination plant that was installed today in Al-Shaddadi Hospital, for use within the Artificial Kidney Department, with support from the “Mahad” organization, within the framework of enhancing the readiness of medical services and improving the health infrastructure in the area.
The Directorate also received four kidney dialysis machines provided by the Ministry of Health through the Al-Amin Organization, as a grant from the King Salman Foundation for Relief and Humanitarian Aid. The machines were installed inside the hospital in preparation for their introduction into service during the coming period.
The Directorate explained that the devices will be put into operation after the installation and trial operation are completed, in addition to training the specialized medical personnel on their use, which will ensure the provision of more efficient treatment services for patients with kidney failure in the Al-Shaddadi area and the surrounding areas.
This step comes as part of efforts to support the health sector and raise the level of specialized services provided to patients, especially kidney dialysis services, which are witnessing an increasing need in the area.
