A delegation from the Turkish Ministry of Health visited Deir Ezzor Governorate to review the health situation and assess the needs of medical facilities, as part of preparations to provide support aimed at rehabilitating health centers and establishing new medical facilities in the governorate.
The delegation conducted a field tour accompanied by Deir Ezzor Health Director Nasr Al-Khalaf, which included a number of operating health centers and facilities, with the aim of assessing the conditions of medical services and determining the support priorities required to improve the health sector.
The visit discussed ways to enhance health services provided to the people, in addition to studying the area’s needs for new medical centers, as part of plans aimed at developing the health infrastructure and raising the level of medical care in the governorate.
