The Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor in Deir Ezzor issued a new circular requiring employers in various establishments to document employment contracts for all workers, in a step aimed at regulating the labor market and enhancing compliance with regulatory laws.
The circular comes based on Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor Resolution No. 16, which requires establishment owners to visit the Industrial and Agricultural Labor Department to complete contract documentation procedures before paying financial contributions to the Social Insurance Institution.
These measures aim to protect the rights of workers and employers by legally strengthening contractual relationships, which contributes to reducing labor disputes and enhancing stability in the work environment.
The Directorate stressed the need to adhere to the new instructions, warning that violators will be subject to legal accountability, and stressing that implementing these procedures contributes to creating an organized and safe work environment, compatible with the provisions of the applicable labor law.
