In the city of Deir Ezzor, work continues to remove rubble and open streets in a number of neighborhoods, under the supervision of the City Council and in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), as part of the “Deir Ezzor Spring” campaign aimed at improving the service status and rehabilitating the infrastructure.
The works include the areas of Al-Rushdiya, the main street, and the vicinity of the government complex in Ali Baik (Al-Ordi) neighborhood, where workshops are working to rehabilitate roads and open the main access paths to facilitate traffic and movement within the city.
In the same context, paving work continues at the western entrance to Deir Ezzor, in a step that will enhance traffic and commercial activity, and improve the city’s vital entrances.
In a related context, technical workshops at the General Electricity Company in Deir Ezzor continue to equip an electrical conversion center in the Al-Hawaiqa neighborhood, near the Fatima Al-Zahraa Mosque, where the work includes installing an electrical circuit breaker with a capacity of 1250 amps, in addition to modern protective circuit breakers.
It is expected that the introduction of the center into service will contribute to enhancing the stability of the electricity supply and improving the quality of electrical supply in the area, which will reflect positively on the service and living conditions of the people.
