The Syrian Petroleum Company announced a significant improvement in production at the Dejla fields (in Hasakah Governorate, within the Rmelan Oil Production Facilities ), thanks to the significant efforts of national technical personnel.
The company explained that the production rate increased by nearly 30% during the recent period, after its teams succeeded in addressing u and overcoming operational challenges, with technical expectations that the increase rate will reach 50% in the near future.
Syrian Petroleum confirmed its continued implementation of plans to develop fields and raise the efficiency of wells, in parallel with strengthening international partnerships to increase production rates and develop the infrastructure of the energy sector in the country.
At the same time, the (British) company Gulfsands Petroleum expressed its official desire to resume its operations in Syria, following a field visit by a delegation from the company to the oil fields. The delegation expressed its full confidence in the technical capabilities and operational readiness of the Syrian oil facilities.
These developments are positive indicators that reflect the beginning of the recovery of the Syrian oil and gas sector, and open new horizons for attracting foreign investments, especially in light of the improvement in operational and technical stability in the fields.
