The General Corporation for Drinking Water in Deir Ezzor, with support from the International Rescue Organization “IRC” (IRC), began implementing development work in the town of Jazret Al-Bu Hmied, with the aim of improving drinking water services and enhancing their sustainability.
The works include extending a 4-inch diameter water line west of Jarwan Road, in addition to connecting the new water station to the service power line, ensuring its continued operation.
The projects also include extending an 8-inch main line from the station towards the main street, in addition to implementing 6-inch branch lines to feed a number of neighborhoods, as well as linking the capacity line with the new line to raise the efficiency of the network.
It is expected that these works will contribute to reducing water outages and improving the quality of service provided to residents, while the institution praised the support of the International Rescue Organization “” for such vital projects that serve the people and enhance service stability in the area.
