The workshops of the Technical Services Directorate in Raqqa continue maintenance work on the metal height-measuring arch  at the entrance and exit of Al-Mansour Bridge, after it was damaged as a result of a vehicle colliding with it.

Maintenance work included repairing and reinstalling the arch, raising its height from 240 cm to 260 cm, in a step aimed at reducing the recurrence of damage and improving the flow of traffic on the site.

In the same context, workshops are currently working on installing a similar arch on the opposite side north of the bridge, as this measure aims to prevent the passage of trucks and heavy machinery, in order to preserve the safety of the bridge and ensure public safety.

The relevant authorities called on drivers to adhere to height limits and traffic instructions, to avoid violations or causing additional damage.
