Al Mayadeen City Council announced the launch of a new service project aimed at comprehensively rehabilitating the city’s main street, as part of improving infrastructure and enhancing service standards.
The Council explained that the project will include the road extending from the club roundabout all the way to the Al-Jordag area, with implementation work starting at the beginning of the fifth month, under the direct supervision of the Council Presidency, after completing the preparation of the necessary materials.
The Council called on citizens and shop owners along the project’s route to expedite the completion of their water and sewage connections before work begins, to avoid any obstacles that could affect the progress of implementation.
The project includes the complete rehabilitation of the road, in addition to maintaining and isolating sewage networks, and implementing transverse rain drainage holes to drain rainwater.
The works also include removing damaged sidewalks, constructing modern sidewalks, in addition to installing a new lighting system, which contributes to improving traffic safety and the general appearance of the city.
This project comes within the Council’s plan to develop infrastructure and enhance basic services, meeting the needs of residents and improving the quality of life in Al Mayadeen.
