The people and residents of the countryside of Tal Brak district are suffering from a severe crisis in securing drinking water, as a result of its interruption in the village of Samihan Gharbi for more than a week, and in the village of Al-Salihiya for about 20 days, amid the absence of quick solutions to restore water pumping.
Residents explained that their homes were now completely devoid of water, forcing them to rely on limited and insufficient alternative sources to meet their daily needs, which increased their suffering in light of the difficult living conditions.
The residents called on the concerned authorities, especially those in charge of the Tal Athan station, to intervene urgently to restart pumping and ensure that water reaches the affected villages, warning of the crisis worsening and turning into a humanitarian disaster if the outage continues.
