Deir Ezzor Governorate announced the start of distributing agricultural diesel to farmers at a subsidized price, with the price of one liter set at 0.25 US dollars, equivalent to about 3,000 Syrian pounds.
This step aims to support the agricultural process in the governorate by alleviating the financial burden on farmers, especially in light of current economic challenges and rising production costs.
The concerned authorities confirmed that providing diesel at this price will contribute to improving agricultural productivity and encouraging farmers to continue cultivating their lands, which will reflect positively on the living reality in the region.
This initiative comes as part of broader government efforts aimed at stimulating the agricultural sector and enhancing food security, by providing the necessary facilities and support to farmers in various regions.
