The Syrian Arab Red Crescent, in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross, announced the launch of the “Cash for Relief” project with the aim of helping the most vulnerable families secure their basic needs in light of difficult living conditions.
The announcement explained that the project specifically targets the most affected patients, especially cancer patients and dialysis patients, according to specific criteria that ensure that support reaches the most needy groups.
The project managers explained that one of the basic conditions for benefiting from it is that the applicant has not previously received support from Red Crescent projects, calling on those wishing to register to present their personal ID and family register.
Applicants are also required to submit a dialysis patient card, a cancer patient card, or a medical report proving the medical condition, as part of the procedures for verifying eligibility for support.
