Raqqa City Council has begun implementing maintenance and rehabilitation work for the city’s public parks, as part of efforts to beautify them and improve the status of their services, in preparation for the summer season.
The first phase of the work includes the Council’s workshops to clean the gardens and remove accumulated garbage, while the second phase includes distributing and installing waste baskets inside the gardens.
The third phase will include planting trees in various public parks, in addition to road pavements, with the aim of increasing green spaces and improving the city’s aesthetic landscape.
The Raqqa City Council workshops have begun implementing these stages in a number of the city’s parks, and work will be completed successively in the rest of the parks during the coming period.
