Water rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergencies and Disaster Management in Raqqa Governorate carried out comprehensive field training, aimed at raising the level of readiness and preparedness to confront emergency situations.
The training included inspecting the equipment and mechanisms used in rescue operations, in addition to conducting a field survey of the Euphrates River water, with the aim of probing the bottom topography and measuring water visibility levels, which contributes to improving the accuracy and speed of response during the intervention.
These exercises come within the periodic plans approved by the Directorate to enhance the efficiency of rescue teams and ensure rapid intervention in emergency situations, which contributes to protecting lives and enhancing public safety.
