The crews of the General Company of Electricity in Deir Ezzor reactivated  Al-Sabah electric transfer station in the eastern countryside of the governorate, after it was subjected to acts of theft and vandalism during the period of the SDF’s control over the area, with direct support from the Deir Ezzor governorate.

The Ministry of Energy stated that the work included the maintenance of an electrical transformer with a capacity of 30 megavolt amperes, which feeds three irrigation stations, in addition to a new hospital in Bakkara, in addition to eight water stations distributed in Al-Tabiya, Jadid Akidat, Jadid Bakkara , Al-Sabha, Al-Sour, Al-Harijiyah, and two water stations in Dhala.

The Ministry confirmed that reactivating the station comes within the framework of efforts aimed at improving basic services in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor , and providing electrical and water supply to the people, which contributes to enhancing service stability and supporting the return of normal life to the area.
