Deir-Ezzor Health Directorate sent an integrated health team to Al-Hol camp, which included cadres specialized in vaccination, nutrition, and psychological support, as part of a health response aimed at enhancing the level of services provided to children and women inside the camp.
During the visit, the team conducted a nutritional survey of 150 children, assessing their health and nutritional status, in addition to vaccinating 50 children who had dropped out of the routine vaccination program, as part of the efforts made to limit the spread of communicable diseases.
The team also provided tetanus vaccination to a number of women, in addition to psychological support sessions, which contributes to improving the health and psychological reality of the most vulnerable groups within the camp.
This mission comes within the plan of the Deir Ezzor Health Directorate to reach the most needy groups and enhance basic health services in various regions, in coordination with the relevant authorities to ensure continuity of health care.
