A delegation headed by the President of Al-Furat University visited the city of Raqqa, with the aim of activating the university branch in the governorate, in order to alleviate the suffering of students resulting from having to go to Deir Ezzor and Al-Hasakah to follow up on their academic achievement.
The university president and his accompanying delegation conducted an inspection tour that included the buildings and colleges of the university branch in Raqqa, to see their technical and administrative reality, in preparation for reactivating them during the next few days.
Dr. Ali Emrair, Vice President for Media Affairs at Al-Furat University, confirmed that the university will begin activating the colleges and taking over them properly through a committee formed specifically for this purpose, with the aim of restarting the colleges and educational departments again.
For her part, Dr. Nahla Al-Jld, a member of the receiving committee, explained that the committee has begun receiving work with the aim of activating the colleges of the Al Furat University branch in Raqqa, and putting them back at the service of students, which will contribute to reducing the burdens of travel and movement to neighboring cities.
