The Media and Communications Department of the Ministry of Defense announced the death of seven army soldiers and the injury of twenty others, as a result of the SDF militia targeting a military site with a suicide drone near the Al-Yarubiyah crossing in the Hasakah countryside.
The administration explained that the targeting occurred while army forces were combing and securing a factory found in the area, which led to its explosion and the martyrs and injuries in its vicinity.
The Ministry of Defense stated that the factory was designated for the manufacture of explosive devices and drone ammunition, and included a number of Iranian-made drones, which the SDF militia was preparing to equip and use in hostile actions. The Ministry confirmed the continuation of security operations to pursue those responsible for the attack and ensure the security of the area.
