The neonatal incubators department at Martyr Ahmad Al-Huwaidi Hospital in the city of Deir Ezzor has witnessed a qualitative shift after liberation, as the number of incubators was increased from eight non-qualified units to twenty-two modern incubators equipped according to the highest medical standards, contributing to the provision of an appropriate environment for newborn care.
The department has also been supplied with an integrated sterilization system that ensures the highest safety standards inside the incubators and care rooms, reducing the chances of infection transmission and enhancing protection for premature infants and sensitive cases. Additionally, new modern medical equipment has been introduced to support the stability and efficiency of the department’s operations.
In addition, specialized medical and nursing teams have been trained to handle delicate newborn cases, which has positively reflected on the quality of care provided and increased the hospital’s capacity to meet the needs of residents in the city and surrounding areas
