Joint field patrols were carried out today in Al-Thawra (Al-Joura) neighborhood in Deir Ezzor, with the participation of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, the City Council, and the Police Department. The operation aimed to regulate markets and remove unauthorized stalls and carts, in response to residents’ complaints about obstructions on public roads.
The campaign included organizing market activity, facilitating pedestrian and vehicle movement, and taking legal action against violators.
The concerned authorities affirmed that such field campaigns will continue regularly to ensure organized markets, improve public services, and preserve the city’s civilized appearance.
