The Directorate of Internal Security in the Al-Bukamal area discovered a warehouse containing 19 electric detonator charges and 17 mines, remnants of the former regime and Iranian militias, during ongoing security sweep operations in the region.
The competent authorities fully secured the site and handled the seized materials in accordance with approved technical procedures to ensure the safety of residents and the protection of both public and private property.
The confiscated items were duly seized as part of the Internal Security’s ongoing efforts to enhance stability and safety in areas liberated from the remnants of war and terrorist elements.
