The Transport Directorate in Deir Ezzor Governorate has begun issuing and delivering permanent license plates for vehicles that previously carried temporary “test” plates, following the completion of the necessary legal and technical procedures.
Officials from the Directorate explained that this step comes as part of the Ministry of Transport’s plan to modernize the transport sector and improve the quality of services provided to citizens. They noted that efforts are ongoing to simplify administrative procedures and facilitate the process for vehicle owners to obtain permanent plates.
It was also published that vehicle ownership transfer services are now available for these vehicles in compliance with current regulations. This contributes to regularizing the status of vehicles that were previously registered under the “test” category and officially licensing them.
This measure is part of the government’s efforts to improve services in the transport sector in Deir Ezzor and to achieve greater discipline and organization in vehicle registration.
