Several organizations and volunteer teams, in cooperation with the Deir Ezzor Governorate, have begun preparing and cleaning the municipal stadium in the city in anticipation of the “Deir Al-Izz” campaign, which is scheduled to launch on the 11th of this month.
In an exclusive statement to the DeirEzzor24 Network, engineer Mohammad Omeir, a board member of the “Without Borders” Development Association, explained that the association has been working intensively for several days, in coordination with other volunteer teams, to clean and prepare the municipal stadium to host the event.
Omeir confirmed that the preparations included painting the stands and thoroughly cleaning all the stadium’s facilities, with the goal of providing a clean and safe environment for the audience and participants in the campaign.
These efforts between official bodies and civil society reflect the spirit of cooperation and solidarity in Deir Ezzor. The “Deir Al-Izz” campaign is an important initiative aimed at strengthening community cohesion and supporting cultural and sports activities in the region.
