The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Deir Ezzor Province has seized quantities of spoiled meat during an inspection of butcheries in the city of Deir Ezzor.
According to a reporter from the DeirEzzor24 Network, the spoiled meat was properly destroyed, and legal action was taken against the violators.
He added that the inspection included checking the quality of the displayed meat, ensuring compliance with health regulations, verifying the posting of prices, and identifying the type of meat being sold.
It is worth noting that the directorate receives citizen complaints, conducts consumer protection patrols directly, and issues necessary citations on the spot.
