Today, the city of Al-Bukamal experienced the opening of the “Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha” Hospital, attended by the Minister of Health, Dr. Musab Al-Ali, and the Governor of Deir Ezzor, Mr. Ghassan Al-Sayed Ahmad, following its complete rehabilitation through community efforts.
The opening ceremony was attended by a number of local residents and representatives of the entities that carried out the rehabilitation work.
During his visit, Minister Al-Ali, accompanied by the governor, conducted an inspection tour of the women’s clinic in Al-Bukamal. They also assessed the condition of the national hospital, which was destroyed by bombardment under the former regime, with the aim of evaluating the healthcare situation and planning for its rehabilitation to serve the public.
The tour by the minister and governor also included the cities of Al-Asharah and Al-Quriyah, and the town of Subaykhan, to assess the state of healthcare services and the readiness of medical centers there.
In the city of Al-Mayadin, Minister Al-Ali and Governor Ahmad inspected the national hospital alongside regional administrators, where new departments were inaugurated, including the obstetrics and gynecology department, general surgery operations department, neonatal incubator unit, and the nephrology department.
The minister reviewed the hospital’s needs with the aim of enhancing the medical services provided to citizens.
