Deir Ezzor National Hospital recently launched an intensive training program focused on “Coordination and Referral,” bringing together dedicated healthcare professionals from across the region. Guided by expert trainers from the Ministry of Health, this initiative welcomed medical and health staff from various care centers throughout the governorate.
The course aims to elevate the skills and knowledge of healthcare workers by deepening their understanding of patient referral pathways between different medical facilities. This ensures seamless continuity of care and enhances the overall quality of medical services delivered to the community. Beyond improving patient transitions, the training also fosters stronger collaboration between primary care centers and hospitals while advancing communication systems within the healthcare network.
Participants engage in a blend of theoretical lessons and hands-on sessions, exploring real-world case studies and collaboratively crafting innovative solutions to strengthen the referral system at the governorate level. The training is set to unfold over several days, promising meaningful progress toward a more connected and effective healthcare system.
