The “For a More Beautiful Tomorrow” Team has concluded its volunteer initiative to plant 700 trees in Deir Ezzor city, aiming to improve the appearance of roads and showcase the city’s beauty, according to a DeirEzzor24 Network correspondent.

Our correspondent said that the initiative was a contribution to the reconstruction of Deir Ezzor and to remove the dust of war. The campaign included planting trees in roundabouts and public facilities, such as the Seven Lakes Roundabout, the Supply Roundabout, Hamoud al-Abd Roundabout, the Unknown Soldier Roundabout, and the gardens of some government institutions. This is part of community efforts to enhance green spaces and improve the environment.

“Aday,” one of the team’s volunteers, told Deir Ezzor 24 Network, “This initiative was implemented in cooperation with Civil Defense teams and lasted for five days, during which we were able to plant trees throughout the city, despite the logistical difficulties we faced.”

The team emphasized that this campaign is part of a series of volunteer activities aimed at restoring life to the city after years of devastation. The team has previously implemented several initiatives, the most recent of which was a mosque cleaning campaign in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan.
