The Iranian-backed militias in the city of Al-Mayadeen, east of Deir Ezzor, have evacuated all of their checkpoints, according to a reporter of the DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our reporter said that the militias evacuated all of the checkpoints spread on the “Al-Shabli” road that connects the city of Al-Mayadeen to the “Ain Ali” shrine in the Al-Qouriya desert, for fear of being bombed.
The checkpoint personnel were preventing most of the residents from using this road, and excluded some people who live in houses near the aforementioned road.
On the other hand, the Iranian-backed militias confiscated most of the lands and farms spread along the road from the desert side, and turned some of them into military headquarters affiliated with them.
