DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
The city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, has been witnessing a fuel shortage at most stations for days, according to a Reporter of the DeirEzzor24 Network.
According to the “Sadcop” company, the reason for the shortage is the failure to receive the governorate’s full share from the Baniyas refinery.
The correspondent for Deir Ezzor 24 said that the Iranian-backed militias are selling diesel and free gasoline in the city, through people affiliated with them, in exchange for sharing the profits.
The city is witnessing ongoing disputes between elements of the Iranian-backed militias and Assad’s forces over the division of the fuel trade in the city of Albukamal.
