The Revolutionary Guards militia deployed elements along the Euphrates River in the city of Al-Mayadeen, east of Deir Ezzor, according to a source for the DeiEzzor24 network.
Our reporter said that the militia placed two elements with the Assad forces at each point, in order to camouflage them and prevent them from being targeted by drones.
He added that the elements deployed by the militia specialize in sniping, in order to monitor movements on the river and support the tribal forces militia in the event that they cross towards areas controlled by the SDF.
These measures by the Revolutionary Guards militia come in conjunction with the escalation of military operations between the Assad forces and the tribal forces militia on the one hand and the SDF and the international coalition on the other.
