Assad forces and Iranian-backed militias committed a massacre that claimed the lives of more than ten people, including children and women, and wounded a number of others, as a result of a missile attack on the town of Al-Dahla in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, at dawn today.
A reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network said that Assad’s forces bombed the town of Al-Dahla, east of Deir Ezzor, with missiles at around 2:30 a.m. last night, resulting in the death of: Rahaf Ismail Al-Aboud, 12 years old, Nadia Khader Al-Muhammad 18 years old, Hind Farhan Al-Aboud, 30 years old, Aya Ismail Al-Aboud, 8 years old, Nadine Thalej Al-Ubaid, 22 years old, Yasser Yassin Al-Zaar, 37 years old, Maria Yassin Al-Zaar, 12 years old, Salwa Yasser Al-Zaar, 5 years old, Raghad Muhammad Al-Zgheir, 22 years old, Sham Bashar Al-Zgheir, 4 months old, Ilaf Bashar Al-Zgheir, a year and a half old, and the injury of the child Ali Hassan Al-Dhamen, 12 years old, Malak Aboud Al-Hussein, 25 years old, “Souria Al-Aboud”, 50 years old, Fahd Ismail Al-Aboud, 15 years old, and Malak Ismail Al-Aboud, 6 years old.
This massacre, committed by Assad’s forces and Iranian-backed militias, comes less than 24 hours after a series of attacks carried out by a group of tribal gunmen headed by the so-called “Ibrahim al-Hafel” on several SDF sites in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
