Doctors from Deir Ezzor have said that the fever cases that swept the governorate, estimated at thousands, are not COVID despite the high body temperature, complete weakness, and stomach pain, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 Network.
According to the doctors, the fever spreading in Deir Ezzor is close to typhoid fever and is not accompanied by a cough and the CRP analysis in it is 100. At the same time, the normal situation does not exceed 5 only. It affects the entire family, and is not contagious, and requires treatment consisting of serums and intravenous injections continuously for a whole month.
Some of the cadres of the Health Directorate believe that the fever spreading is the result of water pollution and the lack of methods to treat it properly or a germ spread in vegetables.
