Elements believed to be from Daesh targeted vehicles belonging to Assad forces and Iranian-backed militias with machine guns near the “Hadajah” area in the southern Albukamal desert, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
Our reporter said that the attack resulted in the death of an Assad forces officer with the rank of lieutenant named “Mohammed Al-Sankari” from the residents of Al-Qatirji neighborhood in Aleppo city, and an element who was with him.
It is noteworthy that the attack targeted food and protection vehicles designated for the positions of the Iranian-backed militias in the desert area.
