A DeirEzzor24 network reporter said that the Fourth Division checkpoint in the Panorama area at the southern entrance to the city of Deir Ezzor has been detaining a shipment of solar panels for more than a week.
Our reporter added that the shipment is for the benefit of pledges made to international organizations (UNICEF and Oxfam) with the aim of operating some of the contracted water filtration plants.
The Fourth Division checkpoint requests huge amounts of money, amounting to half the price of the shipment, in exchange for its release.
