A private source told the DeirEzzor24 network that the leader of the Revolutionary Guard militia Haj Askar was moving around Deir Ezzor in civilian clothes.
The source added that Askar began by visiting his militia’s sectors, disguised in civilian clothing (kalabiya), wearing a head covering (shamagh) over it (akal), and riding an old motorcycle, to enter the sectors without anyone knowing him.
He pointed out that “Askar” allocated a financial reward of half a salary to a guard member of the Revolutionary Guard militia in the city of Al-Bukamal, after he arrested Askar and prevented him from entering the military headquarters, as the top military commander in the Al-Mayadeen and Albukamal sectors was disguised and tried to enter the headquarters.
It is noteworthy that “Askar” began to disguise itself and camouflage its movements in Deir ez-Zor, since its recent return to Albukamal after a sick leave due to being injured in one of the raids on a headquarters in Albukamal.
