DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
During the past few days, the Iranian-backed militias deployed approximately 150 members on the banks of the Euphrates River in the city of Al-Bukamal and the villages of Al-Sukkariyah, Ashayer, and Al-Ghubrah in its countryside, according to a DeirEzzor24 network reporter.
Our reporter said that the members belong to the “Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces” militia and were deployed at the points of the 17th Division of Assad’s forces.
He added that the militias provided the elements with mortar shells, rocket launchers, machine guns, and night goggles.
It is noteworthy that the Iranian-backed militias supported the river points in the Albukamal area and its countryside, after the recent clashes with the SDF in more than one area, especially in the city of Al-Mayadeen and its countryside.
