This morning, a high-level Iranian security and military delegation arrived in Al-Bukamal city, east of Deir Ezzor, coming from Iraqi territory, a private source told the DeirEzzor24 network.
The source said that the delegation held a meeting with the commanders of the Iranian-backed militias within the security square at Al-Hagana roundabout in Al-Bukamal.
The source continued that the delegation was made up of generals and officers of Iranian and Afghan nationality who entered today from the crossing in the village of Al-Hari, east of Al-Bukamal, as part of a convoy that included 9 cars accompanied by heavy security.
The attendees of the meeting included Hajj Missar Al-Lebanese, Hajj Abu Ruqayyah, Haj Malik, and members of the militia.
The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces emphasized the secrecy of activities within the ranks of the Revolutionary Guard militia, and it was suggested during the meeting that a financial reward be given to anyone who provides information that leads to those who deal with the Global Coalition.
The Iranian-backed militias have increased their meetings and security steps in Deir Ezzor, especially after the recent escalation with Israel, for fear of Israeli responses that may affect them in Deir Ezzor.
