Unknown gunmen attack the Criminal Security Branch in Al-Bukamal city

The Criminal Security Branch in the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, came under gunfire by unknown assailants last night, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.

According to our reporter, the Criminal Security Branch in the city of Al-Bukamal strengthened the branch’s protection elements, and the head of the branch established a new guard point at the main gate. He added that 10 members were dismissed after the gunmen fired bullets at the branch while the head of the branch was inside.

These events coincide with a state of alert by Assad’s forces and Iranian militias in Deir Ezzor, fearing a possible response by the global coalition and American forces.
