The DeirEzzor24 Network monitored a significant increase in goat prices in livestock markets in areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor.
Our reporter said that the price of the “foam goat” reached 6 million Syrian pounds, at the Salhiya auction, north of Deir Ezzor, and in the sheep market in the town of Al-Shamitiya, west of Deir Ezzor, and the city of Al-Ashara, east of the province.
The increase of the goats prices in comparison to sheep comes as a result of the winter demand for milk, the price of which exceeded 5,000 SYP per kilo.
