DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The city of Deir Ezzor witnessed modern cars of the type (Santa Fe, Jeep, Vercruz…) roaming its streets with metal plates bearing the name of the National Defense Militia instead of the digital number, according to what was reported by the DeirEzzor24 network reporter.
Our reporter said that these cars crossed from the SDF-controlled areas of Raqqa Governorate, or the Hawaij Dhiyab crossing in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
He added that the cars belong to commanders in the National Defense militia, and civilians were able to buy the plate for an amount exceeding $1,500 with approval from the defense center in Damascus through the militia commander in Deir Ez-Zor Governorate, “Firas al-Iraqiya.”
These cars will not be subject to any accountability by the Traffic Police and the Directorate of Transport and Security Checkpoints, but they are not subject to sale or commercial circulation.
