DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Assad’s forces patrols were deployed in some streets in the city of Deir Ezzor and launched a scrutiny campaign that targeted passers-by, especially young men, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
Our reporter said that the patrols stopped several young men near Al-Fath Mosque in the city, and searched them in a humiliating manner, under the pretext of suspicion of possession of drugs, even though they did not find anything in their possession.
They also arrested several young men on charges of failing to perform “compulsory service,” and arrested others on the pretext that they were wanted in civil cases.
Assad’s forces deliberately usually stop young men in the city of Deir Ezzor and search them under the pretext of searching for drugs, to blackmail them financially in exchange for not arresting them.
