The Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia appointed “Hajj Malik al-Irani” as commander of the Al-Mayadeen region in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, according to what a DeirEzzor24 network correspondent reported.
Our correspondent said that the militia reappointed the so-called “Hajj Askar” as commander-in-chief of the Albukamal region, to manage the work of the Iranian militias there, as it is the most important region in Deir Ezzor in terms of smuggling and drug activities and the introduction of weapons and Shiite pilgrims from the State of Iraq.
These new appointments for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia come in light of military cooperation with the international coalition in Deir Ezzor.
