The leadership of the Liwa al-Quds militia transformed a number of houses it seized in the party associations’ housing neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor into its headquarters and provided them with weapons and elements, according to what a DeirEzzor24 network correspondent reported.
Our correspondent said that the militia’s practices against the people of the city of Deir Ezzor have become a source of fear, especially as it has begun to employ its mechanisms to arrest the city’s youth and hand them over to the security branches of the Assad regime.
The Liwa al-Quds militia is an unofficial military militia supported by Russian forces, and is active in several areas of Deir Ezzor.
