The Red Crescent stops providing aid in Deir Ezzor

The Red Crescent is preparing to stop distributing aid in the Deir Ezzor province starting next month, according to a local source in the organization to the DeirEzzor24 network.

According to the reporter, the main reason behind this decision was that the World Food Program stopped helping the Syrians due to lack of funding and theft committed by local officials.

The activities of the Red Crescent in the coming period will be limited to providing assistance, working in places of disasters and catastrophes, and managing small projects.
