A DeirEzzor24 network reporter said that all activities of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia in the Husseiniyah “Imam Jaafar al-Sadiq” in the town of Hatla, northeast of Deir Ezzor, were stopped, under Russian orders.
According to the reporter, Iranian meetings and gatherings were stopped, in addition to the Shiite course scheduled to be held by the general, “Abu al-Sajjad Najm al-Sheikh Ali,” for the people of the region, while the opening of the Husseiniya was limited to prayer only.
These instructions come as part of several Russian measures to limit military activity within the seven towns east of the Euphrates in Deir Ezzor province, which threaten the coalition in areas controlled by the SDF.
