A DeirEzzor24 network correspondent said that the National Defense Militia, members of the Fourth Division, and Military Security set up a joint checkpoint in the center of the city of Al-Mayadeen, east of Deir Ezzor.
Our correspondent added that the checkpoint is located in the Al-Jaradiq area in the middle of the city of Al-Mayadeen, and that checkpoint members deliberately obstruct civilian cars and passenger buses under the pretext of inspection, and blackmail civilians in exchange for allowing them to pass, forcing them to pay royalties.
It is worth noting that the militias and Assad’s forces are controlling the people in Deir Ezzor, to collect money through blackmail and using military influence.
