DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Numbers of Deir Ezzor residents required for compulsory service have begun to resort to the National Defense Militia in Deir Ezzor, according to a DeirEzzor24 network reporter.
Our reporter said that this demand comes for reasons related to the identity of the defense militia members not being searched by the Assad regime’s checkpoints, in addition to the possibility of dispensing with salary and paying 100,000 per month to group leaders in exchange for non-permanence and commitment to service.
The National Defense Militia in Deir Ezzor is a hotbed of suspicious actions and the promotion of narcotic drugs, in addition to its commanders using their influence to bypass laws and regulations.
